Saturday I lugged my boxes across campus and hauled them up to my office. I'm not teaching a class this semester, but I will be tutoring a few hours a week, and I am thankful.

Brian installed gray trim along the edge of the shed last week.

I spent an afternoon last week scooping murky water from my pool, replacing the torn plastic with a new sheet, lining the sides with rocks and filling it with water. 

Mother's Day

We celebrated Mother's Day with dinner at the Cookie House. Logan grilled steak, which we served with baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, asparagus, biscuits with honey, blackberry lemonade and iced tea. For dessert, Naomi presented us with a chocolate raspberry cheesecake.
