While I was in Pennsylvania earlier this month, I was able to tour Julie's office and meet her coworkers. Julie works as a staff accountant with Brethren in Christ World Missions.

I had to pay attention when I left work on Monday to make sure I got into the right vehicle. The Beachy Buggy has served me well, but it has traveled over 200,000 miles and it was time for it to be replaced. Dad and Logan helped me shop for a vehicle and we settled on this 2010 Ford Edge.

 One of the most popular stops at last Friday's Passport to the World, when local elementary children visited SVSU and were introduced to people and cultures from all over the world, was the face (and hand) painting station.

After spending Saturday and Sunday with Julie, we met up with Judith and Austin and I spent the rest of my time with Joel's family.

Washington D.C.

On Saturday, Julie picked me up in Baltimore and we spent the day in Washington D.C. It was umbrella weather in the morning, but by the time we stepped out of the American History Museum, the sun had come out, and we had just the right number of layers to be comfortable as we walked around the Mall.

Apparently crab cakes are the thing to have in Baltimore. I tried some. Though, not being a seafood fan, a taste was enough.
