Library book

I was almost giddy to be able to walk into the library (albeit just in the lobby) and pick books from the shelf (though they were on rolling carts and the selection was very, very limited).

I’ve missed the library. First it was shut because of the pandemic and then it was damaged by the flood caused by the dam failures a year ago May.

Virtual Sunday school

One of the things we learned during the COVID shut-down last year was how to have Sunday School remotely.

We've returned to having meetings in our building on Sunday morning, but most Sundays a few of us join virtually, whether because of distance or illness. I have been blessed by virtual Sunday school, and if you ever want to join us, leave me a message and I'll send you the link.

Powerless

A tree snapped and fell across the line that brings power to my house. Dad and Josh worked yesterday on replacing the damaged wire and conduit on the side of the house.

Bread

My oven stopped working yesterday morning when I had bowls of bread dough to bake for market. Dad came to the rescue with a spare oven part.
