One of the things I like about my new position is that I have sick days. I took my first sick day yesterday and I was glad that I could lie on the couch without having to arrange a sub and send lesson plans and wonder if I really should have just dragged myself to class. 
Sigh. One of those things about teaching: it's harder to stay home sick than to show up and just do it.
