Mint tea
Iced tea, made from fresh mint leaves, is one of the tastes of summer. Here's the "recipe":
- Pick a handful of mint from your garden.
- Throw the leaves (still on the stem) into a pitcher.
- Pour boiling water over the leaves.
- Let steep for 5 minutes or more.
- Fish out the leaves (it's easier if they're all still connected to the stem).
- Cool the tea in the refrigerator.
- Serve with ice.
