After spending the weekend in Paradise with Brian, Amanda and David, I ventured across the UP to the Ford Center in Alberta where I spent the week at the DNR's Academy of Natural Resources learning about forests.
Really? Was this just personal interest or are you going somewhere with this? Whatever the reason I'm glad you got to expand your horizon. Good for you.
It's a program for educators to learn about Michigan's natural resources. This year the focus was on forests. The opportunity to spend a week in the UP while getting continuing education credit was too good to pass up.
