Along with painting the walls over spring break, I also spruced up the dishwasher with some peel-and-stick-wallpaper and Dad helped me replace some electric switches and outlets so the colors matched. Oh, and I strung some Edison bulbs just for fun.

What a great idea with the dishwasher! I love the string of lights also. I bought a string for Uncle Keith and set them on top of the kitchen cupboards to create a soft light in the evenings.
