Naomi and I constructed five wreaths of various size over the Thanksgiving break.

Wide-angle

I recently purchased a new lens, a Canon EF-S 22mm f/2.8 STM lens, which allows me to take wider shots. On Saturday I cleaned my house and tried out my new lens.

Sunrise trail

On a Sunday afternoon, not so long ago, I borrowed a hat and Aunt Carolyn and I hiked Sunrise trail.

Brown

One of the things I noticed about Arizona was the colors--they were so much warmer than Michigan colors. Both states feature a large quantity of brown in November, but the browns are different. Michigan brown has a gray undertone, but the Arizona brown was warm.

Arizona

I attended the CALT Conference in Tucson, Arizona last week. I was able to add a few days to my trip and spend time with Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Keith. Aunt Carolyn had scouted out the optimal photo shoot times and places and I captured a plethora of photos of cactus, mountains and dessert. This photo, looking toward Red Mountain, was taken in a grocery store parking lot just before sunset.
