Josh already ripped these cabinets out.

 These are the photos that we will look back at in a few months, and marvel at how many improvement we've made to the house.

Josh's sister and I worked on coating this wall with primer. Just a couple of coats of paint do wonders.

Naomi and I thought we could make a Pine-Sol comercial in this room. I was amazed at how beautiful that door looked once I scrubbed off year's worth of dirt. 

The bathrooms are still nightmarish.

Monday we had a snow day. Teachers and students rejoiced.

Dad bringing home his boxes last Friday.

After nearly thirty-eight years, my Dad retired from his position as a Chemical Engineer at the company where he had worked since he graduated from college. 

When friends inquire about what he's going to do with all his time, my Dad laughs. His children (especially those of us with houses) have plenty of projects to keep him busy, and he already has a part-time job lined up.

Last week the papers were signed and now Betsy and Josh have a fixer-upper house to get into a livable  condition before their wedding in April.
