Back to school
I started school this week. I returned to my alma mater not as a student, but as an instructor. On Tuesday I began teaching a grammar class for international students at a nearby university.
I now have one of those back-to-school stories that every teacher accumulates along the educational journey.
Here's the short version:
A couple of weeks ago...
Monday: Found a job posting; applied online.
Tuesday: Received a message from the department.
Wednesday: Played telephone tag and set up an interview.
Thursday: Completed interview (the first of two for the day).
Friday: Received an offer.
For the next couple of weeks my background check hung out in human resources.
Last week...
Thursday: Background check cleared. Zoomed over to the university to meet the senior teachers.
Friday: Began training.
This week...
Monday: Completed training. Received class assignment.
Tuesday: Began teaching. Class assignment was switched and then switched back. Received textbook.
Wednesday: Experienced a "regular" day.

Reheat-n-serve
Yesterday was a hectic day. At the end of the day the light wasn't spectacular and I didn't have time (or energy) for a leisurely walk, but at least I had leftovers from a photo feast a few days ago.
