After hours on airplanes, Julie is nearing the end of her journey to Malawi, Africa. Early Thursday morning, after praying over her and her luggage, we deposited her and her bags at the airport to begin the series of four flights that will take her to southern Africa. She will be on the other side of the globe for two months as she completes an accounting internship with Brethren in Christ World Missions and our friends the Millers.

She's in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteShe's in our prayers too. I imagine it's going to seem so strange to your family, not to have her around. Her sweet spirit and helpful hands must be such a blessing to you! We just love Julie...

I love your title...it reminds me of the story that Mom told us of when she went to get their marriage license. They asked her where she was born and then where Dad was born. Since my Grandpa and Grandma Byler were missionaries in Africa when my Dad was born she said Ethiopia, Africa. The women did a double look at her, and Mom said, "He's white." : ) I always have to laugh when someone asks where my Dad was born.
