Sorting berries is no one's favorite tasks, but it is necessary before the berries are ready for market. Somehow sticks, stems, leaves, and unripe or squishy berries make it into the pails and have to be removed when the berries are transferred to quart containers.

I love the apron! Where did you find such vivid fabric?

We bought the fabric at Yoders in Shipshewana, Indiana. It is called Farmers Market.
ReplyDeleteThey look very yummy!
ReplyDeleteBlueberry's are kinda expensive in KS,
and thus a real treat.:-)
So far we've had people from California, Colorado, and Kansas pick blueberries this year to take home. I remember Canada, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, London, England from previous years. It would be fun to know if our blueberries had made it to all the states.
