Apples

Dad carries yet another container of apples to add to the collection of buckets and baskets of apples overflowing from our front porch. We gathered the apples in preparation for pressing cider last Friday night at the hayride.

    That is a LOT of apples. How long does it take to process that many? And how much cider would you get from that many apples? I'm sure it tasted delicious!

    I think the ratio was something like 1/2 bushel apples to 1 gallon cider.
