I actually have come to really enjoy choosing books on the computer. I find more books this way than pulling off the shelf myself. There is a big loss of the actual visit to the library... the train, computers and big comfy chairs. Our library has a partial open... no chairs and you are not welcome to linger... they cornered off a small section and you can go in, grab your reserved books off the shelf, look through a limited number of shelves and speak with the librarian. Uncle Keith has probably missed the library the most as it gave him somewhere he could go by himself when he was feeling good.
