You guys in Michigan are soooo lucky to have such beautiful scenery. I haven't seen any scenery like that here in Texas, but my time has been limited lately with these 75 degree balmy February days. The time that I should have used looking for a tree like in your picture has been all taken up looking for my sandals and shorts that I packed away two months ago... now where did I put that sun lotion.... I'll have to look for a pretty tree like the one in your picture later. Uncle Keith
Beautiful! It reminds me of the beginning of the movie, "The Snowman" based on Raymond Briggs' book. Have you seen it?

Good comparison, Betsy! Think you could take a shot that reminds us of Robert Frost's "Stopping by Woods," Amy?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful composition! Both stark and peaceful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen "The Snowman," I might have to check into it.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to keep my eye out for Frost's "Stopping by Woods." I'm sure the picture is out there waiting to be taken.
I do have a photo for Frost's "Birches," which I should post some time.
