Friday evening our church gathered at the pavilion and ball diamond at Porter Township Hall. We played softball and basketball and ate grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. Our joy was damped by the absence of our pastor's wife. She absolutely loves Sunday school picnics, but has been ill and was unable to attend the picnic.
