Water is one of my favoritist things--especially when I can swim in it. I had a glorious time Tuesday afternoon at Sleeper State Park where the Saginaw Bay joins Lake Huron in Michigan's thumb. The Great Lakes are never warm and I was covered with goose bumps when I finally emerged from the water. My fingers were like raisins and my hands tingled and I was very happy.
