I made the most of my summer vacation from teaching. After spending about three weeks with Julie up north in Michigan, I joined my parents on their trip to Colorado at the end of July.

We had a lot of helpers for the next step (Don't worry, I grabbed the climbing monkey on the left after I snapped the picture). 

Laughing Whitefish Falls

 

Julie and I stopped at Laughing Whitefish Falls in Alger County. I failed to put on long clothing or use mosquito spray and spent most of our time doing a disjoined version of the the hokey-pokey. Despite my efforts, I end up with mosquito bites.
