Concrete

The long anticipated concrete pour commenced on Friday. The weather was perfect and the job went smoothly.

    I always enjoyed pour days....hummmm....have to think about why they provoke good memories for me....maybe the anticipation and teamwork that was a part of the day....also always liked watching my dad work with wet cement....he was the "master chef" mixing up just the right combination of ingredients and then the "Slop" sound of the wet stuff being thrown on the next brick...just lovely
