Clothesline

As a teenager I declared my intention to never hang clothes on a clothesline. Alas, I am now just another example of how pathetic adulthood can be.

    I thought it was dumb to go to the same college my parents did. But then I loved it. Then I vowed never to get married in August like my parents because it was way too hot in August to get married. Then I met a farm boy whose family was busy all summer except August. So I got married in August. And it was hot!
