Internet

After twelve days, four service visits by the technician, a cable strung across my yard and an extension cord running from my living room to my office, my internet is restored.

      It's not permanent--the cable will be buried in the yard and once we rewire the office we can remove the extension cord.

      Oh, and I forgot to mention that as a result I don't have electricity in my bathroom. Minor inconvenience compared to not having internet.
