WWJD?

One of my challenges in teaching is interacting with lots of people. By the end of some days, I'm so tired I don't even want to say "hi" to anyone.

I was talking with my friend yesterday and I admitted that sometimes I pretend not to see people in the hallways because I don't want to talk with them.

"But Amy," she said, "that's not what Jesus would do."

It was the reminder I needed.

And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Matthew 5:47 NIV

  1. we had a pastor who had another way of saying it What is Jesus doing and we should strive to be apart of what he is doing where we are at.

  3. WWJD? Jesus sent the crowds away and went alone by himself to pray. He even kicked his disciples out of the nest and told them to go ahead without him and he would catch up with them. So they go in the boat and ... anyway, even Jesus needed a break from the crowds sometimes.

What would Jesus do? He'd take nap!!! Check out the "sleeping in the boat in the storm" story.

  4. So I guess the moral of the story is: if you need to sleep or pray, it's okay to avoid people...but other than that, you need to be accessible.:-)
