Dad arranged for the insurance company to rent a heavy-duty bed table for Julie. Then he lugged her new sewing machine to Julie's room. Saturday he positioned the sewing machine on the table and Julie began sewing the binding on a denim baby quilt Mom just finished tying off. Julie's sewing machine has controls on the front so she didn't even need the foot pedal to operate it.

Wow, you guys continue to amaze me! I love you all!
ReplyDeleteCute toes Julie!
ReplyDeleteI love it!
ReplyDeleteJulie...I'm so glad your dad was able to arrange this. Does it feel good to have your hands busy?
ReplyDeleteOne thing I'm curious about...how can you see what you're sewing, while lying on your back? Are they able to prop you up now? If so, that's a good sign!:-)

:) I love the toes and nose pose!
ReplyDeleteIt is always an encouragement for me to see someone overcome a weakness by excelling in other strengths they have- I am not a good example of this; I usually fall apart at the seams when something goes wrong that weakens me somehow; I have a difficult time sewing all the pieces back together. I am glad for faith to know God who is building my life even when I feel shut down and weak. His work and will are the only threads that seam my life with beauty!
ReplyDeleteI can say my life is His tapestry of rich and royal hue- an everlasting vision.
Oh, Julie...only you! :) Such perseverance!
