Solution

If the pressure gauge on your well pump dies and you can't wash your dishes, don't let a cluttered kitchen bother you. Just pile your dirty dishes on the back porch.

    I like the way you think. Is it necessary to wait until pump dies or could one use this strategy for other occasions?

      This solution fits many problems. The key, though, is to stack the dishes where you can't see them from the kitchen (notice they are stacked to the side of the kitchen window, not in front of the window).
