Cats and dogs

There are times when the photographer needs to become a participant and not just an observer. Sadly, I failed to recognize such a time. The dog's instinct exhibited itself for a second and the kitten was dead.

    Oh, Amy, I'm so sorry! We remember that little kitty from last week's visit. Where in the world did the dog come from? He looks like a nice dog...obviously someone's pet.

    The dog belongs to the owner of the blueberry farm. She's a good dog and just did what comes naturally to her.
