Brian's goats had seven kids this weekend, ranging in size from a twelve pound buck to a five pound doe. Sunday afternoon I visited the maternity ward in the barn to see the new arrivals. I took a few photos and then loaded them onto my laptop. That's when I realized it was more than a few pictures. From 4:00 p.m. to 4:09 p.m. I shot 105 frames.

  1. Wow! That momma has her hands full!

  2. That is funny! I'm sure I will take about that many too- baby goats are so cute that you just have to keep shooting every cute thing they do :).
Ours are due in April. It works out better that way for us because we don't have to feed them hay once the grass is up and the mother's eat more hay/grass once they freshen.
Oh, but I can't wait!! I think baby goats are my favorite baby animal. Well, I don't know, because kittens, lambs and baby bunnies are so cute too!

  3. Congratulations to Brian! Love the ear floppy photo and the back lighting on the last photo. How sweet....wish I was there to see them.
