in the hallway
Yesterday I met a line of pre-schoolers threading their way down the hallway to their classroom. Two of the little girls looked up at me and asked, "Are you a teacher?" I said I was. As I passed them, I heard one little girl say to her friend, "She's so pretty!" The other replied in admiration, "She looks like a witch."
Hmmmm, interesting. I agree with the first little girl. But don't let that go to your head.

ReplyDeleteWell--I wasn't wearing all black. My skirt was black and white and I was wearing a white shirt under a black jacket. I tried to look less witch-like today--black shirt under a white jacket, black and white abstract skirt, and a white covering.
