Creation Museum

Believe is the message of the Creation Museum near Cincinnati, Ohio. Believe that the Bible is true, from the first chapters of Genesis to the last chapters in Revelation. According to the Bible, God created the world in six, literal twenty-four hour days, and according to Answers in Genesis, there is plenty of scientific evidence to support a young earth.

Amanda and I toured the Creation Museum yesterday, though we ran out of time before we ran out of museum. It was Amanda's first visit and she was delighted with the displays. She also bumped into some Mennonite friends from Canada and we ate lunch with them at Noah's Cafe.

If you refuse to believe the first few chapters of the Bible, you've destroyed the foundation of the rest of God's Word.

While Amanda watched the Stargazers show in the Planetarium, I toured the gardens. The last time I traveled the galaxies it upset my world for a good forty-five minutes, so I declined the opportunity. Besides, walking in the gardens gave me the opportunity to try out my new hat.

While I had visited the Creation Museum once before, the gardens around the building weren't developed yet. This time I was able to wander along paths and across suspension bridges, by ponds and waterfalls. It was beautiful, though a tad too warm (90F) for this Michigander to fully enjoy the outdoors.

  2. Oh, how fun! Answers in Genesis is such a wonderful ministry. We have not been to the museum (yet anyway), but I would love to go sometime! It sounds like you and Amanda certainly enjoyed yourselves. :)

Thank you for sharing these 'trip' posts! I have been enjoying them. :)
