Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul.
Psalm 143.8 NIV

Thursday night I stayed with Julie and we had several long, difficult hours. No matter what we tried she received no relief from her discomfort. But in the morning the day was new and the sun painted the horizon pink and purple right outside Julie's window.

  1. What a beautiful picture! I am so glad that Julie has this physical reminder of her faith when she looks out her window. Can you post where she is located - so we can send cards and things. God is good! He had his hands all over this accident. It marvels me how He will use this to reach or touch someone. How loved we are all.

  2. I'd be glad to give you her address. Just send an email to anyone in our family and ask for the info (I don't want to post it directly on the internet).

  3. What a lovely picture and verse.
    God bless!

  4. My heart is heavy that the night was so long. We can only hang on to the fact that we may sometime be able to comfort someone else with the comfort God gives us in these long hours. Amy, I'm so glad your eyes looked for the beauty after such a long night.

  5. God is building your lives Amy!
